How mechanics use this

1.When to use which tool
A probe light answers yes/no for power. A multimeter gives volts, ohms and continuity. Use both on BS6 wiring jobs.
2.Charging window
Resting battery ~12.6 V; running 13.8–14.5 V on most two-wheelers. Below that, test the stator before the regulator.
3.Safety
Keep the probe off the ECU signal pins unless you know the circuit. A short to 12 V on a sensor line can damage the ECU.
