1.Crank-no-start checks
Confirm spark, 12 V at the ECU and CKP resistance before swapping the sensor. Chafed wiring near the crankcase is a common false fail.
2.Black vs standard socket
Activa 6G hall sensors ship in more than one connector colour. Match the socket photo, not only the bike model name.
3.After fitment
If the engine still will not fire, re-check air gap to the flywheel and the ground at the harness, then scan for P0335.

Frequently asked questions
What are the signs of a faulty Activa 6G hall sensor / magnet coil?
Common symptoms include hard starting (even with full battery), engine misfires, rough idling, sudden stalling at low RPM, or reduced pickup power. If the bike cranks but doesn't fire, this sensor is often the culprit in BS6 Activa 6G models.
Is this hall sensor plug-and-play for Activa 6G?
The black socket variant is a direct replacement, so no wiring changes are needed: unplug the old one, plug the new one in and secure it. Most mechanics take 15 to 30 minutes.
Compatible: Honda Activa 6G BS6 (2020+ models). Not for pre-BS6 or other brands without checking connector.
Do I need any special tools to replace it?
Basic toolkit (screwdrivers, socket set) is enough. For diagnosis first, use our Universal BS6 Fuel Pump Tester to rule out fuel issues before replacing the sensor.
